Windows 10 slow Alt-TAB delayed response - Solved - at least for one day :( [ was: "one system :) " ]
Update: 1 day later the problem re-occurred :( Several discussions and solutions for this were posted in the past. Some of which more involved than others - clean boot, etc. I tried some of those, with no success. The following simple setup surprisingly made this problem disappear. Open "adjust the appearance and performance of windows". Can be easily found by clicking on Windows key and typing "adjust performance". The setup I had there seemed right - all options checked: Deselecting all options, surprisingly solved the problem. Likely there is a performance penalty with this setting. For instance, Windows Explorer no longer show icons, instead, showing this: Yet I prefer it over a slow Alt-TAB response. Later I'll gradually bring back the best performance options, to find the culprit...
